CHAMPIONSHIP: Friday and Saturday, July 27-28: First and second rounds. Tee times begin at 7:30 am each day. Following the completion of the second round, the field will be cut to the low sixty (60) and ties. Sunday, July 29: Final Round. Tee Times begin at approximately 8:30 am.
Alternate Order: The order alternates will be accepted into the Championship field will be based on the following order of Qualifying sites.
1. Keller GC 5. Chaska TC
2. Bunker Hills GC 6. Northfield GC
3. Purple Hawk CC 7. Pebble Lake GC
4. Edinburgh USA 8. Bakker Crossing CC
Practice Rounds: Practice round times are available. Bunker Hills GC policies regarding tee times reservations and fees apply. For availability, call 763-755-4141. The "Original 18" holes will be used for the Championship proper, please request the East to West combination as this is 15 of 18 Championship holes.
Distance Measuring Devices: Devices used for the purpose of measuring yardage only will be allowed during Qualifying and Championship rounds.
Withdraws: Players who withdraw at least two business days before the State Open (July 27) will receive a refund less a $25.00 processing fee.
Golf Cars: Motorized golf cars will not be permitted in the Championship.
One Ball Condition: Is in effect: During a stipulated round, the balls a player plays must be of the same brand and type as detailed by a single entry on the current List of Conforming Golf Balls.
Personal Appearance: Players are reminded that proper golfing attire is required. The wearing of T-shirts, SHORTS, or blue jeans is not allowed during qualifying and Championship rounds. Penalty is DISQUALIFICATION.
Pace of Play Policy: A group shall be considered out of position if they are one hole behind the group immediately ahead of them and behind the cumulative time allowed according to the charts below. In case of the first group of the day, they must only be behind the time allotted according to the chart below.
Procedure for a group out of position:
When a group is out of position they will be timed and all players in the group will be informed they are being timed. Other than the putting green, the timing of a player's stroke will begin when it is their turn and they can play without interference or distraction. Time spent determining yardage will count as time taken for the next stroke. On the putting green, timing will begin after a player has been allowed a reasonable amount of time to mark, lift, clean, and replace their ball, repair their ball mark and other ball marks on their line of putt and remove loose impediments on their line of putt. A player is permitted 45 seconds to play a stroke.
Any player being timed, who exceeds the applicable time to play a stroke will be informed as soon as practicable.
Penalties:
First Offense - No Penalty
Second Offense - One (1) stroke penalty
Third Offense - Two (2) stroke penalty
Fourth Offense - DISQUALIFICATION
Note: Timings exceeding the applicable time to play will be carried over throughout the round. |
